Gender Diversity: A Gathering centering 2 Spirit, trans, nonbinary, and intersex current and prospective parents plus everyone who loves us is a landmark community event held in Phoenix, Arizona on November 8, 2025, created for and by Two Spirit, transgender, nonbinary, and intersex (2STNBI) families including current and prospective parents of children. This deeply intentional space centers the lived experiences of gender-diverse families, recognizing the profound transformation parenting brings and the systemic neglect these families often face. Rooted in the belief that "it takes a village," the event will offer participants tools for resilience, connection, and collective dreaming. It will directly address the social determinants of health and call for a cultural shift toward community support and intergenerational empowerment.
Key Highlights:
Centers 2STNBI parents and prospective parents, especially those navigating conception and parenting in hostile social climates.
Offers support, relationship-building tools, and education for up to 50 participants, including 20 families.
Addresses the critical need for safe, affirming spaces to reduce health inequities and build community solidarity.
Free workshops for 2STNBI youth and adults facilitated by trans and gender expansive subject area experts on topics ranging from zine making to somatic healing and gender identity.
Safe, facilitated play space for children from 1 - 10 years old.
Fashion show featuring homemade and thrifted outfits encouraging participants to express their most authentic selves.
Funding for Gender Justice has been slashed across the country and continuing our work is possible with donations like yours to provide nourishing spaces for empowering community building long after this event.
